Special Event - Seafood Festival

There's still time to get involved as a sponsor, exhibitor or with a community booth on January 27, 2007 at the first ever Port Salerno Seafood Festival. See attachment to this newsletter!

Rivers Coalition member, the Port Salerno Commercial Dock Authority, will co-present the first annual Port Salerno Seafood Festival with the Rivers Coalition. Rivers Coalition Chairman, Leon Abood said "the Rivers Coalition has been advocating member fundraising efforts for the benefit of the Rivers Coalition and we are really pleased to recognize the efforts of Mike Baker of the PSCDA in taking the intiative to include us in this first ever event for Port Salerno."

River's Coalition FORCE volunteers serving on the Port Salerno Seafood Festival Committee include Danielle Adams, Helen Harrelson, Jamie Burns, and Jan Timon. Jan Timon is also a sponsor, donating the services of her Public Relations firm, Timon Group PR & Advertising, Inc. to promote the festival.

The Seafood Festival will include a live music stage which includes, among others, Leon Abood's "Dirty River Band" and "Cool Hand". The Kids Area has lined up Pony Rides and Pirates Loft will tie into the festival with Arts & Crafts on the riverfront. Things are moving right along but that doesn't mean we don't need you!

If you are interested in participating as a sponsor, exhibitor or volunteer, please send an eMail to PortSalernoSeafoodFestival@yahoo.com or contact Jamie Burns for more information at 772-225-6849.

Thank You for your Support!
